Tsomoriri Lake is known for its scenic splendor. The high altitude lake is set between Ladakh in the north, Tibet in the east and Zanskar in the west. It is the highest brackish water lake in India, situated at an elevation of 15,075 ft.

Zanskar
Zanskar is a high altitude semi-desert lying in the Northern part of the Great Himalayn Range. Pleasant climate, barren landscapes, snow-capped Himalayan Mountains and sparkling rivers make Zanskar a perfect holiday destination.

Sumda Chun
Sumda Chun is a village located at an elevation of 12,000 ft, known for a temple built by Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo. This village can be reached only after a 5 hour steep river valley trek.

Lingshed Monastery is a Gelugpa Buddhist Monastery in the Zanskar region. It houses about 60 monks. It consists of six principal shrines, kitchens, store rooms and on its uppermost fl oor, an apartment for Ngari Rinpoche or other visiting high lamas.

Thiksey Monastery
Thiksey Monastery is the largest gompa in central Ladakh. The monastery is located at an altitude of 3,600 metres.

Nubra Valley
Nubra Valley is a tri-armed valley located to the North-East of Ladakh valley. Nubra is a high altitude cold desert with scanty vegetation.
